Well, now the poker fever is slowly hitting Manila and the Philippines! Manila (Seven-Up Poker) Manila is played with a stripped deck in which all cards below the rank of 7 are removed leaving just 32 cards. Each player is dealt two hole cards. The five community cards are dealt one at a time and each is followed by a round of betting. Manila has a total of 10 poker tables spread across 4 poker rooms. You can play a number of poker games, including NL Texas Hold'em, Tournaments, Progressive Stud Poker, Texas Hold'em.

At the showdown, unlike Texas Hold’em and more like Omaha, each player makes their best poker hand from both of their hole cards and exactly three of the five community cards.

Because of the stripped deck, a flush beats a full house. Also, an ace may not be played low for a straight (that is, the hand A-7-8-9-10 is not counted as a straight).

Variations

Common variations involve dealing three cards to each poker player, one of which can either be discarded at some point (like Pineapple Poker), or else held to the end, but maintaining the requirement that each player uses exactly two of their own cards with exactly three of the community cards. Three-card variants are sometimes played with 6s restored to the deck, making it 36 cards.
